PCB RESIN HOLES FILLING AND PLUGGING
Resin filling and plugging are processes to seal or fill holes, most commonly referring to vias (holes) in printed circuit boards (PCBs) to improve mechanical strength, enhance electrical performance, and prevent contaminants from entering.
Purpose: close the holes with epoxy resin
Process:
1. Panels are worked in a dedicate machine for the vacuum hole’s filling using a special epoxy resin
2. Baking in oven
3. Planarization in a dedicared brushing machine
